Popular Help & Support

Where can I find the data sheet for a product?

The data sheets for our products are linked via the item number in the tabular overview of our products.

An overview of the technical drawings for the respective products can be found in the Dimensional Drawings section of the product documentation.

For CAD data or .stp files, please contact our support team.

Where can I find the latest firmware and software?

The AT SolutionPackage is provided in the downloads on our website.

You can request the latest firmware from our support team.

Please find the release notes for the firmware in our product documentation.

How can I find out about product updates?
We regularly send out a technical newsletter containing information about the latest updates.

To receive this newsletter, please subscribe here.

What hardware requirements must be observed for operating the products?
A network card that supports at least Gigabit Ethernet is required to operate the devices. A separate network port is recommended for each connected camera. The CPU and graphics card requirements depend on the application and are therefore specified by the image processing software used.
These videos provide clear, step-by-step guidance on special features and software, ensuring you have the visual support you need, whenever you need it.

FAQ

What do I need to be aware of when installing electrical equipment?

The electrical installation differs between cameras, compact sensors, and modular compact sensors. It is important to observe the specific information for the respective model to avoid damage to the device. We recommend using our IO panel. Read more here

Profile recording can be synchronized by an external encoder signal. The encoder is specified for TTL levels and should not have signal levels above 5V DC, as higher voltages can damage the device.

What details are helpful for quickly processing my support request?

In order to process your support requests promptly, we require the serial number of the camera, the firmware version, a recording with calibration and current user set, which is stored as a GenDC container in cxExplorer, and a detailed description of the problem.

A description of how to save a GenDC container can be found in the Product Documentation.

The maximum number of lines is not enough to accommodate the entire object.

What can I do to extend the frame?

Instead of extending the frame, you can split the recording into multiple frames without any loss of data. With the FrameBurstStart trigger, you can trigger multiple frames with a single start signal.

Is support via a remote session possible?

Yes, our support team will be happy to connect to your system with you if necessary. We use Anydesk remote software for this purpose.

You can download an Anydesk client from our website, which can be run without installation.

Which programming languages are supported by the SDK?
The programming languages C++, C# (.NET4.5 and .NET6.0), and Python are supported.
Which third-party software libraries support simple and direct integration of AT 3D sensors?

The installation of the AT Solution Package includes an extension for the direct use of C6 3D sensors in HALCON. For integration into other third-party software, such as Cognex VisionPro, our libraries can be integrated as DLL (.NET runtime library).

Programming via EVT’s Eye Vision software also natively supports C6 3D sensors. Other software solutions such as Aurora AVS, AIL, and DA are already supported or are currently in planning.

Please contact our support team for more information.

What standards and software interfaces are available?
Our devices are compatible with the GenICam and GigE Vision standards. Communication with information from the device website is possible via RestAPI. The IRSX also supports Modbus TCP, Profinet, MQTT, FTP, and Lua Scripting.
Do AT devices support PoE?
No, our devices do not support PoE and may be damaged if connected to PoE.
Can the AT sensors communicate directly with a PLC?
The IRSX and IRS Calilux can communicate via Modbus. The C6 series has two digital inputs and two digital outputs that can be connected to a PLC.
Are AT’s 3D sensors “smart 3D sensors”?

The term “smart sensor” generally refers to the evaluation of measurement data within the device itself. These sensors only send the results via their communication interfaces (e.g., Ethernet, Profinet, Modbus, or MQTT).

AT’s 3D sensors, on the other hand, send the profile data to a PC via the GigE Vision interface. The data is then processed on the PC. AT 3D sensors are high-resolution, high-speed profile sensors.

The amount of data generated by such sensors usually exceeds the capacity of the CPUs built into cameras.

Online Support

In some cases, the fastest way to help is via online access. If you have agreed with our support team on this type of solution, please click the following button to go to the Anydesk website where you can download the appropriate client for your operating system:
